Ain't Myth-Behaving is here!

The end of September brings with it my first solo anthology! Ain't Myth-Behaving is officially out today, and I'm tickled to present two paranormal novellas that are very dear to my heart.

STAG PARTY
Dane Hearne -- also known as the Irish fertility god Cernunnos -- must choose a bride quickly. His long-time goddess has run off with a salsa dancer, and Dane must be married by Beltane, just a week away, or become a mortal -- and die. When he meets American travel writer Megan St. Clair, he knows he's found his soul mate. But while Dane is a sexy Irish hunk with his fair share of blarney, can he convince Megan to marry him in just one week?

NORSE TRULY
Alrik Sigurdsson is cursed to sail his Viking ship along the same stretch of Scandinavian coastline forever. So when lovely American Brynna Lund skids her car off the road into the ocean, he and his men are happy for the diversion of rescuing her. Then Alrik discovers that Brynna is the only woman who can break the curse. Is it any wonder that he's determined to keep her...forever?

CHAT WITH KATIE

I will be participating in a Ain't Myth-Behaving chat on Saturday, October 6th at 3pm Pacific (that's 5pm Central, 6pm Eastern, and 11pm Greenwich Mean Time). This chat will be a big one--two hours, although you don't have to attend the whole time. The first hour will be a Q&A session where you guys get to pepper me with oodles of questions about Ain't Myth-Behaving, the dragons, or any other books. The second hour will be party time with tarot card readings, and party favors in the form of signed copies of backlist books.

If you'd like to join the chat, trot over to the chat room (you don't have to register your user name to enter--you can simply type in a name and click the chat button at the bottom) at the appropriate time, and join in the fun!

COMING UP

HOLY SMOKES will be out on November 6th! I'm very excited about this release, and can't wait for everyone to catch up with the latest Aisling and Drake happenings. If you haven't stopped by the freebies page to see how you can get one of Aisling's wedding invitations, and a special Holy Smokes bookmark, do so soon. Supplies are limited!

UK edition of A GIRL'S GUIDE TO VAMPIRES will be hitting British and Australian bookstores in December. The UK publishers have come up with a saucy new cover that will hopefully appeal to British readers.

January will bring with it MY BIG FAT SUPERNATURAL HONEYMOON, an anthology of short stories by several authors, including Jim Butcher and Kelley Armstrong. My short story concerns Raphael St. John and Joy Randall, from Girl's Guide to Vampires.

February will mark the first book in my new urban fantasy/paranormal mystery series: GHOST OF A CHANCE introduces Karma Marx, transmortis anomaly exterminator, and the poltergeist society set in the Otherworld. Although this is a mystery, I think readers who enjoy my romantic paranormals will enjoy this new series as well.

Be sure to check out the podcast page for all the latest behind-the-scenes information on my books, and for the newly started Pick Katie's Brain question and answer podcasts. The podcasts sound a whole lot better now that my friend Tobias is lending his voice, so I hope you have the chance to listen to them. The schedule is a bit fluid right now, but I'm doing my best to stick to it!

As ever, if you have questions or comments, feel free to drop me a line.

Best,

Katie
